                          Music Ministry                             

At Annapolis First Baptist Church, we place a high value on enthusiastic, passionate worship. God, in His Word, is clear about His desire for our worship and His command for His followers to worship Him alone.  Psalm 95 implores, “Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.  Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.”  However, worship is much more than just the songs we sing on Sunday.  Worship is a lifestyle of loving Jesus more than anything or anyone, but our church recognizes that music is an integral part of how we worship corporately.  
Annapolis First Baptist utilizes a blended style of both contemporary and traditional music that is both relevant and all about Jesus and what he’s done for us.  Our worship team is comprised of people who love Jesus and love using their musical talents to bring glory and honor to Him.  Every week we do our best to allow the Holy Spirit to anoint us as we sing glorious praises unto our King.  

 

 

       Woman's Missionary Union (WMU)         

   

 The WMU women meet each month and plan many different activities and mission projects.
They have supported many different mission projects through the years including Jim & Mary Beth Henson, the Rheubin L South, Annie Armstrong, and Lottie Moon mission offerings, and many others too numerous to mention. They also plan and implement many other activities such as Youth Ranch Trips, Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners, Baby and Wedding Showers. The work of the WMU does not go unnoticed. 

 

                        Men's Brotherhood                        

     

We praise the Lord for our Men’s Brotherhood. 
The men of First Baptist Church have been involved in many outreach and missions activities. One major event over the last 10 years has been the annual Car Show. The show is done as an outreach for our church. Another opportunity that our men have hosted is a community-wide Men’s FishFry. A devotion message is always given at these events. It is an excellent time for Christians and non-Christians to socialize together. They also have an annual Men’s Breakfast each winter and invite men and boys from the community to join them for this special outreach event.   

 


                    Media Ministry               

 

The Media Ministry is becoming more computerized, but if you need something on paper, we'll take care of that. This Ministry is very exciting because it includes so many things, ranging from sermons to prayer requests, and all the upcoming events that we are going to have. We hope you will be able to utilize the tools we provide you through our Media Ministry. We are very excited to see what God has planned for us because we will go where he leads us.
