Warrior's Mentality

Warrior's Mentality
Do you see yourself as a mighty warrior?
Has anyone ever said to you,
"I see you constantly facing battles without backing down... You’re a warrior!"
Let’s take a look at what it means to be a Mighty Warrior—
Someone others can lean on in the heat of battle.
In the book of Romans, we see the warrior mentality being called out and pressed into.
Paul is writing to the Christians with a clear message:
If you run from these battles, Rome will turn to idols—and Christ will never be preached here.
So listen up... press in!
Ask yourself:
Am I a warrior in the battle—
or a sideline observer?
Romans 8:37-39
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Big Idea: To fail to war is to fail to battle—and God never calls us to failure.
Mighty Warrior's Know All Means All.
Romans 8:37
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me . .
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not unto your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.
John 3:16
For God so loves the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever (ALL) should believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
The Mighty Warrior is ALL IN—committed to conquering ALL through Christ!
To be more than conquerors means we face life’s battles with full confidence that we are never alone.
There’s a mindset—rooted in faith—that says:
Being a warrior is a calling.
And that calling makes us more than conquerors through Christ, who loves us.
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Mighty Warrior's Don't Battle Alone.
Romans 8:37-39
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
We know we are "more than conquerors" because we’re not alone—
There have been warriors before us who paved the way.
Hebrews 12:1
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us...
These former battlers—those who’ve gone before us—remind us that we’re part of a legacy.
Hebrews 11
These Mighty Warriors of Faith remind us:
We know we can—because they already did.
They were warriors before us, showing us the way.

Mighty Warriors Are Not Persuaded Away
Romans 8: 38-39
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
How easily are you persuaded?
How quickly do you see the battle as lost?
There’s a story about a famous sculptor—possibly Michelangelo—who was once asked how he created such breathtaking statues from solid blocks of marble.
He answered:
“I see the statue inside the marble. I simply chip away everything that isn’t the statue.”
Do you chip away and see the statue within?
Or do you only see the rocks that block it?
2 Kings 6:15-17
15 When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” the servant asked. 16 “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17 And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
So often, what we miss is this:
The battle we’re facing... is already won.
Mighty Warriors know this truth.
They see it.
They live it.
They don’t retreat—they rise.
Philippians 4:19 . . .
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
The battle is already won.
Suit up, Soldier!

Mighty Warriors Know the Love of God Sustains
Romans 8:39 (b)
. . .nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Throughout Scripture, God is described as the One who sustains all things.
Hebrews 1:3
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
To sustain means:
To give strength, protection, encouragement, and comfort.
God’s sustainment is a divine power—stronger than anything human.
He sustains His children through every difficulty:
? Psalm 54:4
“Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.”
? Psalm 63:1, 8
David, facing enemies and danger, cries out from
“a dry and parched land where there is no water.”
Yet he declares: “I cling to You; Your right hand upholds me.”
God knows exactly how to hold us together.

Mighty Warriors—be mighty in Christ.
When you stand strong in Him,
the warrior within will always rise—
ready for others to lean on.
Suit up... it’s time for battle!
You may be in the middle of a battle right now...
You may be fighting—and growing weary.
You may be battling within yourselves... and you know deep down:
You need a Savior.
You’re not even enlisted in God's army—
and without Christ, you can’t be a warrior.
But here’s the good news:
Jesus Christ died on the Cross for YOU.
He was buried—
and He became your Warrior on the Cross,
so that you could live through Him.
Why not now—right now—accept the plan
that the Mighty Warrior of the Cross, Jesus Christ,
fulfilled for you?
Let Him fight for you—and through you.
