Message from Pastor Dan Pitchers
On behalf of the congregation, Annapolis First Baptist Church announces that our pastor, Rev. Dan Pitchers, and his wife, Ginger, have accepted God’s call to serve another church. Their ministry with us concluded on Sunday, November 30, after 13 years of faithful service to our church family.
We are grateful for their leadership, their love for this congregation, and the lasting impact they have made over these years. Please join us in celebrating all God has done through them by praying for them as they step into this new season of ministry.
We also ask you to lift our church family and leadership in prayer as we navigate this time of transition together.

Message from Pastor Dan Pitchers
We have been waiting for the right time to post what has been going on the last month for us at First Baptist Church Annapolis. Goodbyes are never easy, yet when God directs, there is a comfort in saying, “We will see you again.”
On November 16th, I told the church of the new direction and the “Calling” God brought to our heart for planting a church. (For more on that journey, that will have to be another post or over blackberry cobbler and vanilla bean ice cream and a cup of coffee.)
Sunday morning, November 30th, was my last service as AFBC pastor, baptizing 2 and taking the Lord’s Supper. WOW, did God ever move! You can see in the pics the deacons came, and others as well, praying for us.

We dearly love AFBC. 13 years, 3 months God has allowed us to serve the church, community, school, and surrounding area. We will miss you… And yes, we will see you again.
We now will begin to serve in Warsaw, Missouri at LifePointe Warsaw. I will be the Lead Pastor there at that campus, preaching my first sermon December 7th. Already, we have felt their love for us, and we are extremely excited about what God is already doing and what the future holds for us as well.
The crazy people we are with in the picture below are just that… crazy! They took us in, taught us, loved us, and patiently put up with our “Hey, my computer is…” or “My phone won’t…” and “Wow, how did you do that so fast?”
Lyndal, Miranda, and Justin, everyone knows we loved our church, but when God placed you three in our lives, He said, “Those two are going to need a lot of help…!!” And He sent the three we needed.
Proverbs 3:6: “In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.” Staying true to His word with a new path for our life…
